Boneil learned his trade as a young man growing up in 'Round De Field'. On J. Antonio Jarvis School stairs sat an elder Rastafari named Dalph. Dalph would be there daily knitting apparel and would invite Boneil and his friends to learn. Not taking Dalph's offer on, Boneil went away after completing school. Then he came back to find his friends learning the craft and making their own hats, and started to learn for himself. Inclined to the hustle Boneil took his trade skills to the next level by studying his friends, reading books, and learning from various known knit-wear makers on the island. Increasing his arsenal with different knitting styles, investment in machinery (though some are still done manually), and a lot of practice, Boneil "the Fittest", has created a style of his own and his collection of locally made, high-quality knit-wear is gaining popularity.
